A rocky start to the Legislative session as Democrats are a no-show, with Republicans moving ahead anyway. The latest from St. Paul. A Dakota County judge ruled Democrat Brad Tabke did in fact win a contested race in Scott County. It’s cold again today. There’s good news if you are looking for a warmup, but bad news too. WCCO’s Chris Shaffer with the latest. This cold means warming centers open up for those in need in the community. Minnesota U.S. Senator Tina Smith on preparations for President-Elect Donald Trump’s inauguration. Advocacy groups gathered in downtown Minneapolis today to urge the U.S. Senate to defeat the Laken Riley Act. The Rams took it to the Vikings in Monday’s playoff game, but it was greatly aided by Minnesota’s own dismal effort.
