Tribe Sober is celebrating their 10 year Anniversary with a 7-day Retreat...in Bali

The retreat will be a:

  • Transformational Experience: We’ll be focussing on creating meaningful, life-changing experiences that expand comfort zones and foster personal growth.
  • Opportunity to connect with your purpose and embrace your aliveness,
  • Its Open to All ladies: with a (minimum of one month of sobriety) and also those without alcohol issues who simply wish to refresh and recharge…
  • Lynette's Story and Inspiration:
  • Lynette shared her transition from an unfulfilled, alcohol-dependent lifestyle to a purposeful, vibrant life as a coach and island resident.
  • Bali has been on her bucket list for years
  • We discuss the Retreat Benefits:
  • Sobriety Milestones: Ideal for those looking to consolidate their alcohol free lifestyle and reward their sobriety journey while exploring what’s next.
  • Personal Growth: Discover inner sparks, overcome "blah" feelings, and step into the next stage of personal transformation.
  • Coaching: Each attendee receives a one-hour coaching session for reflection, goal setting, and actionable insights.

Lynette took us through the Retreat Activities:

  • Daily Yoga and Relaxation: Gentle, optional yoga and alternative activities like walking, journaling, or resting.
  • Sharing Circles: Women-only environment fostering deep connections and shared experiences.
  • Self and Spiritual Exploration: Time for individual reflection, spiritual reconnection, and uncovering personal purpose.

Practicalities:

  • Structured Yet Flexible: Space for introverts and extroverts alike, balancing group activities with personal time.
  • It can be intimidating booking a holiday alone and then meeting a new bunch of people so we’re helping to mitigate that by getting to know each other before the retreat:
  • There is already a WhatsApp group where the people who have already booked are chatting on a daily bases – there will be Zoom calls to establish what stage of sobriety people are at so we can design the retreat according to people’s needs

  • Lynette emphasised the value of overcoming any apprehension we might be feeling about booking the Bali Retreat:
  • Stepping Out of Comfort Zones: She emphasized the importance of stepping our of our comfort zones, leaning into discomfort – which will result in personal growth
As Lynette always says “we need to get comfortable with being uncomfortable” which applies to so many parts of this journey
  • I predict that we might feel apprehensive and uncomfortable for a few hours on Day 1 and then we are going to relax and enjoy the beauty of Bali and company of like minded women
  • Lynette ended our conversation with a Call to Action:
  • She urged the ladies listening to embrace their "one, beautiful, magical, precious life" by prioritizing meaningful, transformative experiences
  • We all lead such busy lives and sometimes we just need to take some time out….
  • Some time to refresh, recharge and nurture
  • Some time to reflect on our lives and dream a little – what do we want out of our lives – our one wild and precious life?
  • Some time to get off the treadmill and get inspired

  • 2 groups of women will benefit particularly from this retreat:-
  • Mid-lifers – mid life is tricky – we are often coping with the menopause, career challenges and an empty nest – it’s a time of uncertainty and we need to  reflect on what we want from the second half of our life
  • Older ladies like myself – I’ll be 74 when we go to Bali but I know it’s important to stay open to new experiences and of course for me personally its such a landmark – it will be 10 years since I founded Tribe Sober and sa
