Good morning, Austin! I'm your friendly neighborhood meteorologist bringing you the latest scoop on our wild Texas weather ride.
We've got a Cold Weather Advisory in effect, so bundle up! Tonight, we're looking at a crisp night with temperatures dropping to around 45 degrees and a gentle west wind around 5 miles per hour.
Saturday brings us some sunshine with a high near 60 degrees. Expect a north wind between 5 to 10 miles per hour, with gusts up to 20 miles per hour. Perfect day for a light jacket and maybe some outdoor activities.
But hold onto your hats, because Saturday night is going to get chilly! Temperatures will plummet to around 28 degrees with a north wind between 5 to 10 miles per hour and gusts up to 25 miles per hour.
Sunday continues the cold trend with sunny skies and a high near 44 degrees. That north wind will be a bit more aggressive, blowing between 10 to 15 miles per hour with gusts up to 30 miles per hour.
Martin Luther King Day looks partly sunny with a high near 39 degrees. We might see some excitement Monday night with a 60 percent chance of snow and sleet after midnight. Temperatures will drop to around 27 degrees.
Tuesday brings a 30 percent chance of snow and sleet before noon, with a high near 36 degrees.
The rest of the week looks relatively mild, with temperatures gradually climbing and mostly sunny to partly cloudy conditions.
