Laura Hughes disappeared in July 2024 from her home in Runnemede, New Jersey. A man hiking in a forest in Cape May County stumbled upon a refrigerator covered in a carpet last month. New Jersey State Police identified the body as Laura Hughes. Police said her boyfriend, Christopher Blevins, fled to Mexico and later surrendered to police.
