Today, Larry goes one on one with Jockey Flo Geroux, who discusses his riding career and how and why he moved his tack from France to North America and whether there was someone in North America that helped facilitate his move. He also talks about todays Lecomte Stakes at Fair Grounds and his horse Disco Time and discusses Disco Time’s Trainer Brad Cox and what he believes makes him such a successful Trainer.: Woodbine Jockey Emma Jayne Wilson, who mentions how she is recouperating from injuries from a riding accident last Fall at Woodbine and whether she has set a goal of when she believes she will be back riding this year. Emma Jayne also talks about breaking Julie Krone’s record last year where she became the highest money earning Female Jockey of all time and is asked ‘If she didn’t become a Jockey, what does she think hercareer path would have been’- tune in for Emma Jayne’s answer. Woodbine Mohawk Park’s Vice President of Standardbred Racing Bill McLinchey, who visits the show for the first time and discusses a recent press release on this years Mohawk Million and for our new listeners, he explains the process for entering a horse to this prestigious Standardbred race. He also talks about some of the other major Stakes races to take place this year and talks about his path to becoming VP of Standardbred Racing for Woodbine Mohawk Park.
