Today, Larry goes one on one with Jockey Flo Geroux, who discusses his riding career and how  and why he moved his tack from France to North America and whether there was someone in North America that helped facilitate his move. He also talks about  todays Lecomte Stakes at Fair Grounds and his horse Disco Time and discusses Disco Time’s Trainer Brad Cox and what he believes makes him such a successful Trainer.: Woodbine Jockey Emma Jayne Wilson, who mentions how she is recouperating from injuries from a riding accident last Fall at Woodbine and whether she has set a goal of when she believes she will be back riding this year. Emma Jayne also talks about breaking Julie Krone’s record last year where she became the highest money earning Female Jockey of all time and is asked ‘If she didn’t become a Jockey, what does she think hercareer path would have been’- tune in for Emma Jayne’s answer. Woodbine Mohawk Park’s Vice President of Standardbred Racing Bill McLinchey, who visits the show for the first time  and discusses a recent press release on this years Mohawk Million and for our new listeners, he explains the process for entering a horse to this prestigious Standardbred race. He also talks about some of the other major Stakes races to take place this year and talks about his path to becoming VP of Standardbred Racing for Woodbine Mohawk Park.

In our feature, ‘In Case You Missed It’ A Look At The Way It Was In Horse Racing News, Larry talks aboutthe recent fires in the State of California and how racing at Santa Anita was halted as the track’s property was being used to support several fire relief efforts. In our regular feature,‘Road Trip’, Larry talks about  todays Lecomte Stakes at Fair Grounds and mentions about some of the history behind  the race itself and who he believes the race ‘goes through’today. He also  provides  his ‘Ponies Picks of the Day’selections for several North American Racetracks,later on in the show.

● Flo initially discusses his riding career to date and whether there is a race or races that have continued to allude him. He also discusses how he began his riding career in France and whether it was difficult moving to the United States and ‘setting up shop’ and start his riding career all over again. Flo also mentions a Trainer who was very instrumental in helping him get settled and become a successful rider in North America and also talks about Gun Runner , who he rode regularly and whether he is surprised that the horse has become such a tremendous stallion and talks about todays Lecomte Stakes at Fair Grounds and in particular his mount Disco Time. Flo also mentions why he believes Disco Time’s Trainer Brad Cox has had such a successful Training career to date.

● Emma Jayne initially talks about her riding accident last Fall at Woodbine and how she is currently on the ‘Road to Recovery’ and whether she has a date in mind to resume riding again this year. Emma Jayne also talks about replacing  Hall of Fame Jockey Julie Krone last season  as the highest earning Female Jockey and whether there is anything , like a race or an award  that has continued to allude her and whether she always wanted to be a Jockey and if she could go back in time, a horse that she would have liked to have the opportunity to ride.
