After trading away two starters and a reliever at the deadline, the Twins could only catch the Cardinals once during their three-game set in St. Louis. Their bullpen depth was clearly lacking, and they only got decent starting pitching when they really needed some great performances. David and Dan recap the deals for Jose Berrios, J.A. Happ and Hansel Robles while looking forward to whether the Twins can actually be competitive next season. But they also highlight strong performances from Jorge Polanco and Andrelton Simmons, whose showing apparently came too late for any teams to actually trade for him before Aug. 1.
