Donna Adelson is the matriarch of the Adelson family and is facing first-degree murder, conspiracy and solicitation charges in the 2014 murder for hire case of her former son-in-law, Dan Markel. Dan Markel was a beloved Florida State University law professor and more importantly, a father of two young boys.
Donna Adelson's new defense attorneys, Josh Zelman and Jackie Fulford of Tallahassee, are trying to get her murder trial moved out of Tallahassee. They filed a motion on Monday for change of venue.
