Buckle up, because we've got a Winter Storm Warning in effect, and Mother Nature is serving up a chilly cocktail of winter weather. Right now, we're looking at a 30 percent chance of snow showers after 5 am, with temperatures dropping to a crisp 27 degrees. So grab those extra layers!
Friday is going to be a meteorological mixed bag. We're talking snow showers, freezing rain, and sleet before 2 pm, transitioning to more freezing rain and then plain old rain after 3 pm. Temperatures will barely nudge up to 34 degrees, with winds gusting up to 20 miles per hour. Expect up to 0.2 inches of ice accumulation and potentially less than an inch of snow and sleet.
