LA Wildfires Out Of Control

The death toll is growing and more than a thousand homes are destroyed in what is now the most destructive fire in the history of Los Angeles. Jim Roope reports all fires remain out of control, and a lack of water and firefighters, and hurricane-force winds are only making matters worse.

  

Trump’s Emergency Appeal

Donald Trump’s legal team has filed an emergency appeal with the US Supreme Court in an effort to delay the sentencing in his New York case which is scheduled for tomorrow. Correspondent Julie Walker reports the filing comes one day after Justice Samuel Alito spoke to the president-elect on the phone to support a former law clerk for a job in the administration.
