Matthew 6:6
“But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.”
THE QUESTION IS DO YOU PRAY? IF YOU DO NOT PRAY YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE MISSING. MANY PRAY DURING THE TEN DAYS OF PRAYER AND UNFORTUNATELY END THERE! MAY WE LEARN TO PRAY NOT JUST FOR TEN DAYS BUT FOR A LIFE TIME. MAY THE PRAYER OF THE DISCIPLES BE OURS TOO.

DAY 1 - ABIDE IN ME
John 15:5 NKJV
““I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.”
THE NIV VERSION SAYS REMAIN IN ME! MANY PEOPLE HAVE NO STAYING POWER IN JESUS. THEY ACCEPT HIM BUT THEY ARE SOON SHAKEN OUT OF HIM BY THE CARES OF LIFE AND TRIBULATIONS
Romans 8:35-39 NKJV
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Mark 4:18-19 NKJV
“Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word, and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.”
IT IS ONLY BY ABIDING IN JESUS THAT WE CAN BEAR FRUIT OF HEAVENLY ORIGIN
Galatians 5:22-25 NKJV
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.”
“It is not the capabilities you now possess, or ever will have, that will give you success. It is that which the Lord can do for you. We need to have far less confidence in what man can do, and far more confidence in what God can do for every believing soul” (Christian Service, p. 262).

OUR ONLY SAFETY IN THIS WICKED WORLD IS IN ABIDING IN JESUS
John 10:28-29 NKJV
“And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.”
