It's a new year, and goals are a THING. They're such a thing that people go into a new year planning which goals they're aiming at. The issue is sometimes we don't achieve our goals; we give up, or sometimes we achieve the goal, but it doesn't bring the satisfaction we thought it would. All of this affects us when it comes to setting goals the next time around. We're afraid of failure and lack motivation, and we forfeit growth.
Pastor Mike takes us to Isaiah chapter 54 for our 2025 theme, "Enlarge Thy Tent" and addresses the fact that growth will always involve some level of struggle and stretching, but stretching enables us to become a larger container. A larger container can hold more and keep its contents secure from loss. 
God's desire is for us to enlarge and grow, so as we stretch, lengthen and strengthen, we need to forget the past, act by embracing the process, and dwell in the fullness of what God has for us.
