Description
Divine Visits 🔥 Peter and John, Evidence that you been to Jesus (Part 1)
By Pastor and Mrs Chifamba
Acts 4:13-14
Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. 14And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.Â
Are You Washed In The Blood?
Have been to Jesus for the cleansing pow’r?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Are you fully trusting in His grace this hour?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
CHORUS
Are you wash’d ----------------- in the blood?
(Are you wash’d) (in the blood)
In the soul-cleansing blood of the Lamb?
Are your garments spotless, are they white as snow!
Are you wash’d in the blood of the Lamb?
Are you walking daily by the Saviour’s side?
Are you wash’d in the blood of the Lamb?
Do you rest each moment in the Crucified?
Are you wash’d in the blood of the Lamb?
Lay aside the garments that are stained with sin,
Are you wash’d in the blood of the Lamb?
There’s a fountain flowing for the soul unclean,
O be wash’d in the blood of the Lamb!
WHEN YOU HAVE BEEN TO JESUS YOU HAVE THE POWER OF GENUINE LOVE ❤️ THAT SUPERSEDES THE POWER OF MONEY 💰Â
From a worldly point of view, money is power; but from the Christian standpoint, love is power. Intellectual and spiritual strength are involved in this principle. Pure love has special efficacy to do good, and can do nothing but good. It prevents discord and misery and brings the truest happiness. Wealth is often an influence to corrupt and destroy; force is strong to do hurt; but truth and goodness are the properties of pure love. – {Adventist Home p. 195.3}
Acts 3:1-10
Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour. 2And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; 3Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms. 4And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us. 5And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. 6Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. 7And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ancle bones received strength. 8And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. 9And all the people saw him walking and praising God: 10And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.Â
Jeremiah 9:23-24
Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:Â 24But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.
2 Timothy 3:5-7
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.Â
2 Peter 3:18
But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
