Yamas & Niyamas – The missing Link (Part 2) with Savira Gupta

Episode 51 Published 4 years, 10 months ago
Description

Savira Gupta is back with Part 2 of the Yamas & Niyamas. If you haven't heard part 1. Check out episode 47 before listening to this one.

If you ask anyone who’s raised in the culture of yoga. They’ll tell you they learned these aspects since childhood. Their first teachers being their mothers, grandmothers, school teachers, elders, spiritual lessons & so on… but most westerners overlook the first two limbs of yoga.

Your yamas & niyamas can be your best friends on your yoga journey. As well as your greatest teachers.  This is why most people often fear, neglect, or overlook them.

They can be nurturing, soothing and at the same time make you accountable in yoga and how you live within a society.

Yet, I find myself bewildered when people say these 2 limbs belong in the trash.

But I choose to spend my time, & energy on yoga & people who share authentic yoga for modern living.

Savira Gupta is such a teacher & human being. She's back with Part 2 of our Yamas & Niyamas on the show today. You loved Part 1 so much. Part 2 is the perfect follow-up.  Brew up your chai or cold coffee, turn up the volume & join us for this one.
