This week, Google has released Gemini 2.0 Flash Thinking Experimental, a free model that 'thinks' about complex problems, similar to OpenAI's o1 model but faster. It currently ranks #1 on Chatbot Arena in all categories. OpenAI has unveiled o3, a model that outperforms o1 while far surpassing other state-of-the-art models. o3-mini will be available in early January, followed by the full version of o3.
