Following T’Challa’s passing, Shuri led Wakanda as Black Panther. Rumors surfaced of the Nyoka, an exiled Wakandan tribe, who had survived in secret and now sought to reclaim Wakanda using ancient vibranium technology. Led by Ekuru, they believed vibranium was divine and intended to restore its "sanctity" through conquest.
