The Church celebrates the first day of the new year 2025 with the highest title of the Blessed Virgin Mary. She is the Mother of God. The simple syllogism goes: Mary is the mother of Jesus; Jesus is God; therefore, Mary is the mother of God! Because of this dignity and stature, God adorned her soul with the highest gifts of faith, hope, charity, the supernatural cardinal and human virtues, the gifts of the Holy Spirit, etc. As the Archangel addressed her, she is full of grace! There is no one in the universe who is greater than her. Only God is! She is the mother of God and she is also our mother. Thus, we enter the new year very close to her to guide us. She tells us always, as she told the attendants in the wedding feast of Cana, "Do whatever He tells you"! Thus, she is the best guide and path to reach Jesus.
