Staff Sergeant Nathan Paet, a U.S. Air Force member, was murdered in his garage. His wife, Michelle, initially claimed a good marriage, but investigators uncovered an affair between Michelle and Michael Rodriguez, a convicted felon. Michelle and Rodriguez conspired to kill Nathan for his life insurance, involving other accomplices. All involved were arrested and convicted, with Michelle and Rodriguez receiving life sentences. The Paet children now live in Guam with their grandparents.
