Published 1 year, 3 months ago
Description
Good morning, Boston! This is your weather forecast coming in hot (or in this case, somewhat chilly).
We've got a foggy start to our weekend with a Dense Fog Advisory in effect. Overnight temperatures will hover around a mild 37 degrees Fahrenheit with calm winds creating that classic misty New England atmosphere.
Sunday's looking like a gray day with light rain expected between 1 and 4 in the afternoon. Temperatures will climb to a modest 46 degrees Fahrenheit, so keep that light jacket handy. Those southeast winds will be gentle, around 5 miles per hour.
Monday brings more significant rainfall, potentially heavy at times. Temperatures will spike to 57 degrees Fahrenheit with south winds gusting up to 26 miles per hour. Expect between a quarter and half an inch of precipitation.
The rest of the week looks like a mixed bag. Tuesday will be mostly sunny, Wednesday will see more rain, and New Year's Day continues the wet trend. Temperatures will fluctuate between the mid-30s and upper 40s.
By Thursday and Friday, we'll see some crisp, sunny days with west winds making things feel a bit brisk, with highs around 38 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
Weekend warriors, bundle up! Saturday looks to be mostly sunny but chilly, with temperatures barely reaching 34 degrees Fahrenheit.
