Join me in The Red Treehouse as we explore a horrifying and tragic story, The Failed Exorcism of Michael Taylor. In October 1974, an exorcism was performed on Michael Taylor--who church officials claimed was possessed by as many as 40 demons. Over 8 hours, Michael was subjected to an agonizing exorcism ritual--and all but 3 demons were cast away.

The three that remained were named insanity, anger, and murder.

The plan was to finish the exorcism the following day after everyone had gotten some rest. That day would never come.

Was Michael Taylor really possessed by 40 demons as some claimed? Or was he suffering from a mental health crisis?
