Description
When Carrie Underwood isn't performing in front of thousands of screaming fans around the world, sometimes she pops in to smaller venues for a spirit-filled performance close to home. Underwood made a surprise appearance at a Nashville-area church recently. Her talents were on full display as she performed several Christmas favorites for the church's annual holiday concert. Fellow worshippers said Underwood's singing gave them chills.
Speaking of country leading ladies, Lainey Wilson's career has been a whirlwind (hence the name of her latest album). She taken home CMA and Grammy awards. She's also an ACM Triple Crown winner. While she is grateful for that recognition, the "Watermelon Moonshine" singer said being invited to be a member of the Grand Ole Opry was better than any award she could receive. Being a part of the Opry's history "takes the cake" for Wilson.
