The books of the Bible are not in chronological order and this includes the New Testament. Therefore, the first account of the birth of Jesus is not the book of Matthew, nor of Luke, but it is in the writings of Paul: Galatians 4:4; Romans 1:3, 4 and 8:3, and Philippians 2:5–11.
