While the four gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, recount the life of Jesus Christ, the book of Romans explores the significance of His sacrificial death. As such, it has been called “the gospel according to Paul.” In a question and answer format, Romans is the most systematic presentation of doctrine in the Bible. But the Good News is more than theology pondered; it is a life to be lived – a life of righteousness, befitting one whom God declares, “not guilty” of offending Him if we trust in Jesus Christ. Join Pastor Cornelius F. Warren and Elder S.E. Fisher, Sr in this powerful time of biblical teaching. In Romans 5: 1-11, the word “exult” occurs three times (Romans 5: 10-11, 1). So we could view the entire section as “exulting in the blessings of justification.” This time we can only look at verses 1-2, where Paul sets forth three blessings that come from justification:Justification by faith gives us peace with God, access to His grace, and the joyous confidence that we will share His glory.Call (917) 889-9158
