Show Us How to Reflect Your Light
“People living in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.” -Matthew 4:16 (quoting Isaiah 9:2)
Dear God,
In the midst of our hopelessness and despair, in the midst of our disappointment and disorientation, we pray that you give us the spiritual vision to see your light.
Show us a pathway forward. Show us the steps we must take to find our way forward into the future you desire for all of us, a future filled with meaning and purpose, a future where we are connected to you and each other.
Show us how to reflect your light. Show us how to be beacons of hope, bright shinning moons in the night sky, showing the way until we come into your daybreak. In your name we pray. Amen.
