People in Wichita are dying in very strange ways, and every clue leads back to Plucky Pennywhistle’s, a kids’ pizza place Sam has some history with. Dean is thrilled. Sam is not. Plus, listeners send in some corrections from The Slice Girls (spoiler: that wasn’t the Impala).

• A cold open with Sam vs. clowns, and that mysterious countdown clock
• Frank reports that Fred Savage is a Leviathan, and Sam asks, “Dick on Dick?”

Both hosts loved Sam’s terrified puppy-dog face and agreed the clowns were legitimately creepy. Berly’s only complaint: just like the Amazons, the villain’s magic gets a “fear is powerful” explanation and not much else. Still, it’s a cute, fun one, and the unicorn jump scare got a scream out of Berly.

In the lore segment, LA covers Ranker’s list of Chuck E. Cheese horror stories: a 12-person brawl in Connecticut, a 50-person brawl near Pittsburgh, a skee-ball fistfight, a man who walked off with the wrong kid, a mascot who flipped off a birthday photo, and a former employee’s confession about how the ball pits really got cleaned (spoiler: a car wash). Something strange is afoot at the Chuck E. Cheese.
