Daniel Jeremiah and Bucky Brooks got to talk to a wide array of influential voices in the MLB. Part one will focus on the general managers, building teams, what they look for in players and more. Chicago Cubs GM Jed Hoyer (2:46) joins the show first to talk competitiveness and accessing outlier players like Russell Wilson. Twins GM Thad Levine (15:18) was next and he touched on balancing his roster between beating the division and winning in the postseason and the core traits he looks for in baseball players. Former Rockies GM Dan O'Dowd (29:45) discussed sports specialization and how we need more multi-sport athletes at the high school level and at what age he starts evaluating players.
