Description
This week on Kraken Cans Cast, we’re diving into the chilling folklore of the Yule Cat—a massive, menacing feline that’s been lurking in Icelandic Christmas traditions for centuries. We uncover the origins of this holiday beast, the tale of Gryla (the not-so-jolly ogress), and her mischievous Yule Lads. Plus, we share a Reddit story from someone who claims they might have had their own eerie encounter with the Yule Cat.
Is this feline just a festive threat to lazy folks who don’t finish their chores, or is there something more to the legend? Grab a beer, pull up a chair, and join us for some holiday chills.
