With all that's going on in the world, it's easy to forget the violence against women and girls that happens every day.
I think that society has become jaded and those women and girls become statistics. Behind statistics are people, families and communities.
We must ask ourselves why do the stories of so many woman and girls go unheard of. Do we not care? Are these women and girls just collateral damage of patriarchy.
