The Lakers return to action after several days with a game in Minnesota against the Timberwolves. But despite the Lakers having four days off, the absence of LeBron James for personal reasons greatly affected the team's play as an early ten turnovers (21 overall) in the first quarter never allowed the Lakers to catch back up as poor shooting and offense led to a 97-87 loss in Minnesota.
