Allie Rowbottom is the author of JELL-O GIRLS: A FAMILY HISTORY (Little, Brown). Her essays can be found in Vanity Fair, Salon, The Rumpus, and elsewhere. She has taught fiction and non-fiction at the University of Houston and CalArts and holds a PhD in literature and creative writing from the University of Houston. She is lives in Los Angeles with her husband Jon, French bulldogs Butter and Jammy, and Ham the Morgan horse.
