Jared Ivey has unfinished business as an Ole Miss Rebel.
Ivey, the third-year star defensive lineman, announced Wednesday he’s playing in the Gator Bowl. No. 14 Ole Miss (9-3, 5-3 SEC) takes on Duke (9-3, 5-3) on January 2, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. CT on ESPN.
Ivey has 121 total tackles over his Rebel career, as well as 27 tackles for loss and 16 sacks. He’s recovered five fumbles. Ivey finished this season as Ole Miss’ third-highest-graded defender overall, according to Pro Football Focus.
PFF recently mocked Ivey to the Detroit Lions in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
