Sintia Perez and Jayce Hirschy are accused of leaving their 2-year-old daughter, Zaelynn Hirschy, in a crib in with a space heater overnight for more than 12 hours. Police in Berne, Indiana said the room temperature reached 109 degrees. Perez and Hirschy face charges of neglect of a dependent resulting in death and other neglect charges related to two of their other children.
