In just the first month of 2023, we have seen 7 civilians lose their lives to unlawful force incidents, including Tyre Nichols, Keenan Anderson and others.
To help us understand the legal implications of these and other cases, I am pleased to welcome returning Legal Lens guest, esteemed civil rights attorney Carl Douglas. Mr. Douglas provided insights on the Nichols case and information regarding his representation of the Anderson family.
Mr. Douglas was joined by attorney Angela Powell, who provided insights based on her experience of having tried more than 60 cases in her 23-year legal career, where she represented public entities.
