Meteorologist Lee Goldberg says we're in for a good soaking this week and breaks down the timing and impact in this edition of Weather or Not.

While Tuesday will be gloomy with some fog and drizzle, an AccuWeather Alert is in place for Wednesday for heavy rain and gusty winds.

Lee says rainfall totals could average 1.5" to 2.5" inches across most of the Tri-State, with some higher totals east and well north and west of the city.

After the storm, a chill follows with sharply colder temperatures Thursday.
