The Book is an excerpt from Agatha Christie's novel And Then There Were None, specifically from the first two chapters and several later chapters. The Book introduces a group of diverse individuals who receive invitations to a secluded island called Indian Island. As they arrive, they discover a set of ten china figures representing the ten little Indian boys from the nursery rhyme. The figures begin to disappear one by one, coinciding with the deaths of the guests. Each character has a dark past, and as they slowly realize that one of them is a murderer, they become trapped in a game of survival and suspicion. The novel culminates in a shocking twist where it is revealed that the murderer is actually one of their own. The narrative unfolds through the perspective of several characters, revealing their motivations, secrets, and fears.
