Janine Harouni who is a standup from New York who lives in London (and is a sold out comic around the world) bringing her sold out, critically acclaimed show to the New York stage for the first time, at Soho Playhouse in December for 3 weeks ONLY!
She has a crazy interesting story as well. From Staten Island, was a dancer and got into a major car accident and was told she might not be able to walk again. Had to relearn everything and live ant home with her conservative, Republican family and eventually she was back on her feet both literally and figuratively and ended up moving to london and becoming a stand up. Bringing her real life stories into her comedy about her middle eastern family in Staten Island, her British boyfriends and now husband and baby, life… the show is sweet, timely and hilarious.
