Episode Details

We celebrate today the solemnity of the Immaculate Conception. We celebrate and praise and thank God for this singular miracle and grace. She was created and conceived without sin because of what she was destined to become, i.e., the mother of God. No less that the second Person of the Blessed Trinity would inhabit her womb. She could not have any stain of original sin or actual personal sin, even in the slightest. This mystery shows us the power and love of God for us. Another point is that there is only one immaculate conception other than Christ Himself. The rest of us mortals are sinners. Further, she enjoyed God's action of being preserved from any stain of sin. This is a good lesson for us as well.
