TTP #78: Roy Huggins – Digital Ethics and Security

Published 7 years, 5 months ago
Description

Do you know what HIPAA even stands for? Or that it’s not “HIPPA”? No? You’re not alone! Join me and Roy Huggins, director of Person-Centered Tech, as we talk all about privacy, digital ethics, record-keeping, cell phones, personal computers, and how to stay out of trouble. Roy and I covered a lot of ground here – it’s definitely worth sticking around until the end. A few things we talked about include…

  • What is HIPAA exactly?
  • What are the components of digital ethics?
  • How does privacy differ from security?
  • How do these concepts overlap with or deviate from our ethical standards?
  • What are the major mistakes many of us make in the realm of digital ethics?
