Today, Larry goes one on onewith Woodbine’s Vice President of Thoroughbred Racing Tim Lawson, and they discuss whether this season was as challenging weather wise as the 2023 racing season. He also discusses his role at Woodbine and what it entails and some of the challenges of the Woodbine Thoroughbred meet this year. Tim also mentions how he became part of the thehorse racing industry and talks about some of the key positions that he has held in the industry before becoming part of Woodbine’s team.; The Meadowlands Jessica Otten who is Marketing Coordinator, and TV Host , who discusses her role at the track and some of the highlights at this yearsMeadowlands Standardbred meet. Jessica also talks about how she became part of the Harness Racing Industry and in particular on the promotions side and talks about an NHL hockey team that is near and dear to her heart.; Sugar Doyle, Announcer for The Raceway at the Western Fair District, who talks about how the name ‘Sugar’ came about and his previous experience as a Track Announcer in the Harness Racing Industry. Sugar also discusses a major promotion that will take place on Tuesday, ‘Toys for Tots’ , which also includes a well received Drivers’ Challenge.
