Description

In the second episode of our Namibia Oil and Gas Podcast we look at the week's headlines, and while the media cycle was mostly dealing with Namibia's General Election, we touch on Namibia's National Upstream Local Content Policy that was approved by Cabinet, a monumental development for the industry and players. Africa Oil welcomes the Noble Venturer Drillship to Walvis Bay. Halliburton announces the opening of four new facilities across Namibia, including Windhoek, Walvis Bay, Swakopmund and Lüderitz. Baker Hughes also expanded through a liquid mud plant, cement bulk facility, and integrated multi-modal hub in Walvis Bay.
