Wendilyn Emrys will be with us tonight for a two-part special, starting with what we call Athena, The Goddess You Think You Know followed by a related segment we're calling Drinking From a Poisoned Well. In the first segment on Athena, we'll look at all the misinformation out there about Athena and look for Her more authentic essence in the Paleolithic, Neolithic, Minoan, Mycenaen, Green, Roman, Medieval - as well as the Enlightenment, Industrial and Modern Athena. Drinking From the Poisoned Well, meaning how our misinformed interpretations continue to affect our culture today - because we know mythology shapes society. We'll discuss how to evaluate our sources, weigh them carefully for veracity and make decisions about how to move forward reinterpreting and reawaking our earliest sacred stories of the Sacred Feminine - so vital to shifting the paradigm toward evolution!
