Jack Dempsey, writer and editor, returns to the show tonight discussing Native New England and Merrymount - or How a Native Woman Mothered America's First English Poetry.  Tonight Jack will chat about the Native New England world, the norms and trends of the first 100 years of European contact and how Native peoples coped with the increasing violence and devastating plague.  We'll discuss the plymouth Pilgrims or Plimoth Pilgrims, comparing the traditional view with what we know today.  We'll especially focus on Native New England women and their contributions during this time.
