Its Liz's birthday and she's at an age when she wants to forget about it but she doesn't want George to forget it! She rings his office to drop a hint and George mistakenly thinks that it is his mother's birthday and goes out promptly and buys her a flannel nightgown. Oh dear he manages to escape a disaster then realizes that he has invited his mother's friends over for a surprise party!
