The artist project is JAYKAT. Just released an album called 'Online Therapy' that is narrative album about my journey through identity, cognitive dissonances, and self worth. The song 'Blossom' is an inner conversation wrestling with some of those heavy thoughts. I wrote it during the pandemic, the first time I got covid and was dealing with the added isolation. The song has lots of cinematic elements. Captured between a delicate piano, longing strings and a tired voiceover, to a punchy synth drop with heavy sidechain and impactful drums. The music captures that fight we need to overcome our fears and hurts.
