Nikki has been able to navigate her career in a balanced fashion so that she is able to be a mum as well as a contributing leader in a large organisation.

Her motto is

“It takes a village, there’s no one person, don’t be afraid to ask for help”

And 

“to leave everything that I touch in a better way than when I found it”

She has these golden nuggets of advice for future leaders: -

·      Follow your North Star Guiding principles when you are deciding

·      It’s OK to fail, we learn more from our failures than we do from our successes

·      Having a good sense of perspective, everything will pass, when it feels like the end of the world, its never the end of the world.

·      We need to keep learning and updating our skills, and not being afraid to embrace change
