Description
Join host Elizabeth Hamilton-Guarino for a special one hour show with guest Natalia Paruz. Natalia is the director of the annual NYC Musical Saw Festival. She has been playing the musical saw for 17 years, from Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Gardens, Lincoln Center to as unusual places as the NYC subway. She hopes her story might inspire other people to not dispare when bad things happen: a car accident that ruined her dance career. She was a trainee with the Martha Graham Dance Company and unexpectedly lead her to finding the musical "Saw."The art form of playing music on a carpenter's handsaw has been around for 300 years, but has been almost forgotten in the past 100 years.
