Following clues, Victor discovers the mansion’s hidden chambers and summons the Veilborn, a dark entity that grants him visions beyond human comprehension. Yet, Victor’s curiosity comes at a steep cost as the Veilborn plants a fragment of darkness within him, twisting his mind and binding him forever to Corwick, haunted by knowledge that defies reason.
