How does Chris define Leadership:

·      Leadership is a responsibility

·      Responsibility to others

·      It’s no longer all about you, it’s the environment that you create

·      Create the environment where people are able to speak truth to power

·      Provide clear direction to the team so that they understand the part that they play in it

Chris says, a sign of a great leader is “When you create a team and environment who know their jobs and what’s to be done, you are in effect redundant because everyone gets on with their job”.

And remember:

You don’t know everything; you need people around you who can challenge you
