JESUS TAUGHT HIS DISCIPLES TO WATCH AND PRAY LEAST THE ENEMY TAKES ADVANTAGE OF THEM AND USE THEM WITTINGLY OR UNWITTINGLY AGAINST THEIR MASTER.

Luke 21:36

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Luke 22:39-40

DANGER ⚠️ FROM WITHIN THE INNER CIRCLE ⭕️ THE ONE WHO BETRAYED CHRIST WAS A HIGH RANKING DISCIPLE. THERE ARE SOME IN THE CHURCH WHO BELONG TO THE SYNAGOGUE OF SATAN

Revelation 2:9

I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.

John 6:71

Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil? 71He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve.

John 12:4-6

Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, which should betray him, 5Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor? 6This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein.

IT IS A SAD TRUTH TO KNOW THAT THERE ARE DISCIPLES WHO LOVE MONEY 💰 MORE THAN THE MISSION OF THE CHURCH

Matthew 26:14-16

Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests, 15And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver. 16And from that time he sought opportunity to betray him.

1 Timothy 6:10-11

For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 11But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

Philippians‬ ‭3‬:‭18‬-‭20‬ ‭NKJV‬

“For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame—who set their mind on earthly things. For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,”

SELF-PRESERVATION IS A HINDERANCE FOR MISSION. THE DEVIL USED PETER TO ECLIPSE THE CROSS! JESUS HOWEVER REBUKED AND SUSTAINED HIS FALTERING DISCIPLE BY PRAYER. LET US ALSO PRAY FOR OUR FELLOW FALTERING DISCIPLES AND NOT DESTROY THEM

Galatians 6:1-2

Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. 2Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

Matthew 16:21-24
