2022 Optimist World Champion, 2023 ILCA 4 World Champion, 2023 Asian Games Champion and Bronze Medallist at the 2024 ISAF Youth Sailing World Championships, it’s safe to say that Weka is one of the best youth sailors in the world at this time. His acclaim to multiple world titles and dominance on the international stage has defined him has a force to be reckoned with, but Weka’s path to the top has been one that he himself also admits, was a difficult one.
From (quite literally) the weight of the world on his shoulders from such a young age, and navigating the waters of elite sports from both his family and himself - come along to not only explore the lessons this world champion has learned, but also the sacrifices he’s had to let go to be the sailor he is today.
