By Pastor and Mrs Chifamba
IN THE FEEDING OF THE FIVE THOUSAND AND THE FOUR THOUSAND JESUS GAVE THANKS AND BLESSED GOD FOR LITTLE PROVISIONS BECAUSE LITTLE IS MUCH WHEN PLACED IN THE HANDS OF GOD‼️
Philippians 4:19
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Deuteronomy 28:5 NKJV
“Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl.”
Deuteronomy 28:8 NKJV
“The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.”
Mark 8:4-6
And his disciples answered him, From where can a man satisfy these men with bread here in the wilderness? 5And he asked them, How many loaves have you? And they said, Seven. 6And he commanded the people to sit down on the ground: and he took the seven loaves, and gave thanks, and broke, and gave to his disciples to set before them; and they did set them before the people. 7And they had a few small fishes: and he blessed, and commanded to set them also before them. 8So they did eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets. 9And they that had eaten were about four thousand: and he sent them away.
IN LIFE DO NOT FOCUS ON THE AMOUNT THAT YOU HAVE! FOCUS ON THE BLESSINGS OF THE LORD ON WHAT YOU HAVE! THE BLESSING OF MULTIPLYING A LITTLE INTO MUCH WAS NOT LIMITED TO JESUS. ELIJAH AND ELISHA DID THE SAME MIRACLE IN THE OLD TESTAMENT
1 Kings 17:11-16
And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand. 12And she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die. 13And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son. 14For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth. 15And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days. 16And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah.
2 Kings 4:42-44 NKJV
“Then a man came from Baal Shalisha, and brought the man of God bread of the firstfruits, twenty loaves of barley bread, and newly ripened grain in his knapsack. And he said, “Give it to the people, that they may eat.” But his servant said, “What? Shall I set this before one hundred men?” He said again, “Give it to the people, that they may eat; for thus says the Lord: ‘They shall eat and have some left over.’ ” So he set it before them; and they ate and had some left over, according to the word of the Lord.”
STOP 🛑 WORRYING AND PRAY FOR GOD’S BLESSINGS TO BE ON YOUR SCANTY PROVISIONS. HE WHO FEEDS THE RAVENS WILL EXTEND THEM FOR YOU, FOR NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD.
Worry is blind, and cannot discern the future; but Jesus sees the end from the beginning. In every difficulty He has His way prepared to bring relief. Our heavenly Father has a thousand ways to provide for us, of which we know nothing. Those who accept the one principle of making the service and honor of God supreme will find perplexities vanish, and a plain path before their feet. – {Desire of Ages p. 330.1}
Psalms 147:9 NLT
“He gives food to the wild animals and feeds the young ravens when they cry.”
